Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza & Grill is Hiring a Corporate Office Manager Near La Jolla, CA
Sammy’s Food & Wine, founded in 1989, operates 13 locations throughout Southern California and Las Vegas and is continuing to add new concepts and locations.
We are known for our eclectic menu, consistent quality, and our signature Messy Sundae ®; and we also just added 20 exciting new menu items
Our always-expanding restaurant group is operated by a small corporate office in La Jolla, CA. This office is home to our CFO, HR Director, IT Director, Corporate Chef/Operations Manager, and the owner; all of whom rely on the Office Manager to keep the office open and running during standard office hours. This opportunity could just continue to expand, or it could be an opportunity for a candidate to be introduced to restaurant operations, human resources, or any other specialty in this organization. An ideal candidate may have some hospitality or F&B experience in their work history. This obviously helps with the familiarity of tasks as they relate to running a restaurant group.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Prior administrative or general office management experience
- Some hospitality or F&B experience!
- Excellent computer skills with at least basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook, and Excel
- Attention to detail
Regular Job Duties Include:
- Answering phones and directing calls
- Responding to and tracking guest complaints
- Ordering for the office and for the restaurant managers
- Using Adobe suite to edit, update and create marketing collateral
- Updating menus
- Assisting CFO with vendor and accounting related tasks
- Assisting HR with new hire paperwork, I-9 audits, etc.
- Assisting the owner in various projects
